Recreational shooting starting at 5 yards and building to 15 yards. This is habitual warm up exercise to grow with. The goal is to confirm Anchor and Alignment, before starting long distance practice.

Now work on Aim by confirming your “Point on” distance as explained in 3AR presentation. Do this at 15 yards. Shoot in sessions of 100 arrows. Use a target of 12″ and build to all arrows are grouped within target.

Then using a Walk-back drill to 15 yards – start close, shoot an arrow, step back a couple paces and shoot another arrow..continue to 15 yards. Repeat several times. You are training your mind’s perception of Point on Aiming and the affect on gap distance changes. The relationship between arrow point and bullseye as you move from close to further distances.

Can group 5 of 6 arrows per end in a 12″ target, done three times in succession at 15 yards.
